A LOVELY LITTLE STORY… BETWEEN FOOD AND WINE

La Calèche, a name that still resonates with the older generation, was the establishment that occupies the site of today's Pym's. It was bought by Jean-Marc Bayard in 1982 and quickly sold, only to be taken over by Claudie, who created Pymm's (with two "m"s) in 1983, a restaurant she would elevate to its current status. For 25 years, it was a favorite haunt of Châteauroux's elite, as well as visiting artists (Gérard Depardieu, Claude Nougaro, Jacques Higelin, Florent Pagny). Over the last 10 years, Pym's changed its name, management, and concept several times, and it wasn't until 2020 that Jean-Marc Bayard bought it back from liquidation and breathed new life into it. The restaurant was dusted off and returned to its roots.

Today, the Phoenix rises from the ashes. It's Le Pym's – version 2.0. While preserving the spirit of the original Pym's, we've added a more harmonious, contemporary touch to this exceptional place, a unique soul that evokes emotion. Here, people enjoy a unique experience in a warm atmosphere, an enchanting interlude... At Le Pym's, all the senses are awakened!

The whole team wishes you a pleasant time at Pym's.
